8 + 2 + 1 hours, plus 40 images × 6 minutes (4 hours), is 15 hours at a $90 floor: $1,350. Usage 0.5 adds $675. Expenses $250. Quote $2,275.

This is the photo shoot: hours, image count, a usage multiplier, and expenses. Quote a project is the generic hourly-to-fixed-fee quote (26 hours at $95 plus a 20% buffer is $2,964 on that page). It does not count images or a usage multiplier.

$2,275.00

Usage matches the usage license page: hours × floor × the multiplier you enter.

What the $2,275 photo shoot quote includes

This page quotes a photo shoot. It is not the project quote, which turns a generic hourly floor into one fixed fee (26 hours at $95 plus a 20% buffer is $2,964 on that page). The opening shoot here is 8 hours shooting, 2 hours travel, and 1 hour prep, plus 40 images at 6 minutes each. Image time is 40 × 6 / 60 = 4 hours. Total hours are 8 + 2 + 1 + 4 = 15. Labor at the $90 floor is 15 × $90 = $1,350. Usage is the same 15 hours × $90 × the 0.5 multiplier you see in the usage box, which is $675. Expenses are $250. The quote is $1,350 + $675 + $250 = $2,275.00.

The usage multiplier matches the usage license page: hours times the floor times the multiplier you enter. A multiplier of 0 leaves usage at $0 and the quote at $1,600.00. A multiplier of 1 doubles usage to $1,350 and the quote becomes $2,950.00. Expenses stay added at the end. They are not multiplied by usage. A $0 expense box drops the quote by $250, to $2,025.00, with usage still at 0.5.

Shoot, travel, and prep are hours you type. They are not a day-rate package and they are not a gear rental. Gear has its own page: gear kit day fee opens at $55 for a $6,000 kit over 120 days plus consumables. If the shoot needs two gear days, price them there and add the dollars to expenses on this page, or leave them out and say the quote excludes kit. This page will not invent a kit line.

Image count and minutes per image are the edit. Forty delivered images at 6 minutes is the opening 4 hours. Twenty images at 6 minutes is 2 hours, which pulls total hours to 13 and labor to $1,170 before usage and expenses. Eighty images at 6 minutes is 8 hours of edit. Change the minutes box when your selects take longer than 6 minutes each. The floor stays $90 until you type another number.

A video job is video shoot quote, which opens at $3,220.00 from a crew hour, an assistant hour, gear days, and finished minutes of edit. A logo is logo design quote, which opens at $2,250.00 for 25 hours at $90. Keep this URL for the still-photo shoot with the usage multiplier.
