That paragraph is shipped onsite checkout for Individual Sellers. It is the only numbered Marketplace selling-fee number we opened in public HTML. It is not a Shop catalog rate (that number is See rate information — different page). It is not a driveway handshake.
Help’s checkout-vs-local article names two ways to finish a Marketplace deal: local transactions (message, public meetup, door drop-off, door pickup) and checkout with Buy now. The Help HTML this environment received was geo-gated and stopped at “Checkout on Facebook isn’t available in your location.” It did not print “local selling fee = 0%.” We will not pretend it did. The $0 on the local path is a model: no Meta Pay, no payout, nothing in that 10% sentence to subtract. If a leftover commercial or checkout line still hit, type it.

The leftover-commercial row is empty on purpose. Public HTML we opened numbers Individual Sellers, not a second commercial schedule. If a Page listing or leftover onsite order printed a different percent, paste that dashboard line. Third-party roundups are not a source.
When a buyer files a chargeback, Meta will notify the seller and deduct from the seller’s account (or charge the seller’s payment method on file, if the account balance is insufficient) the transaction amount and a $20 chargeback fee until the chargeback has been resolved by the card issuer.

That $20 is not in the default keep. Type it in optional COGS if a dispute actually hit. Boost listing spend is a campaign budget on Boost Marketplace listings — not a selling-fee percent. Empty COGS = $0, not a free ad account.
Merchant policies also cover payment-provider leftover in spirit: the Selling Fee is Meta’s checkout cut. Cash-app or processor fees on a local handoff are yours to type. This page will not invent 2.9% + $0.30 as a Marketplace line.
Marketplace search and a Shop tab are not one fee table. Treating them as one is how a garage listing inherits a Shops blank, or a catalog inherits this 10%.
