Shops checkout does not print a percent on the public page this calculator uses, so the starting keep is the sale you type with commission left at 0 ($80.00 on an $80 sale). Sale is the catalog sticker plus optional shipping you type (Onsite terms: when selling fees apply, they use the entire transaction, including shipping and Applicable Taxes). Default is an $80 catalog hoodie on the official 2026 path: website checkout, Meta commission empty, payment empty. Change any field. Empty percents and flats = $0.
Default keep leaves Meta % and payment empty because Help discontinued Shops payouts and the terms number is not a number. If Commerce Manager still deducted a leftover onsite order, paste that percent. If checkout ran on Shopify/Stripe, paste that processor — it is not Meta HTML.

This is a Commerce Manager catalog — the hoodie on your Facebook Shop tab, the tagged product on an Instagram Reel, the collection a Shops ad sent someone into — not a garage Marketplace listing and not cash in a driveway. Official Meta Help (US, fetched 28 Aug 2026) moved that catalog off in-app checkout: as of September 2025, Shops on Facebook and Instagram use website checkout, and payment processing has been discontinued for Shops. The Onsite Checkout terms still print a US row for Shops checkout, and the number is See rate information — not a percent we can paste. You type Meta commission. You type payment. Keep = sale − Meta commission you type − payment you type. Empty commission = $0 because public HTML does not number a Shops cut, and Help says payouts stopped. As of September 2025, Shops on Facebook and Instagram now use website checkout. If your shop used checkout on Facebook or Instagram, the checkout method has been updated or your shop is invisible.

That sentence is the 2026 product. The Shop tab still exists. Collections still exist. Shops ads still send people somewhere. The buy button no longer settles inside Meta for that catalog. Help’s next cut is operational, not a percent:
Payouts: Payment processing has been discontinued for Shops. You can no longer conduct transactions in your Shops on Facebook and Instagram. You can still see your balance, payout history, financial reports, tax forms and charge history as archived data for a period of time after the update.

Discontinued payout is why this card’s Meta commission field starts empty. Empty is not a guess that Meta “takes 0% forever on every surface.” Empty is: Help stopped the Shops processor, and the public terms number for Shops checkout still refuses to print a number. Type the dashboard if a leftover onsite order still shaved a line.
Website checkout is you as the store: orders, payments, delivery, and returns on your own site (Help’s words). Your Shopify plan, your Stripe cut, your WooCommerce gateway — those are payment you type. They are not a Meta selling-fee table we can cite.

Two products sit in one US row. We will not mash them.
Same terms, two more sentences we will use without inventing a percent: selling fees, when they apply, are on the entire transaction (sale price, shipping, Applicable Taxes), and they do not include fees your Payment Provider may charge separately. That is why this card has two type-ins: Meta commission, then payment.

The 5% row is a typed illustration, labeled as not official HTML. Do not treat it as Meta’s 2026 Shops default. If Commerce Manager printed a different leftover rate, paste that one. We will not average blogs into a fake Shops schedule.
Facebook the app is several cash machines. Mixing them is how a Shop seller inherits a 10% they never owed, or a garage seller thinks Meta “takes a catalog cut” on cash.
Local pickup on a Shop catalog is also not a Meta payout in 2026: Help says you manage delivery on your own website. If you offered in-store pickup on that site, the processor is still yours to type. We will not invent a Shop-pickup percent.
Shops ads still run. Help says they still send people to the destination Meta thinks will convert — shop surface or website — and that purchase metrics tied to Meta checkout are no longer applicable after the update. Ad dollars are a campaign cost. Empty COGS on this card is $0, not a free ad account. Type a spend line if you want leftover after ads. This page will not grow an Ads Manager mill.
Not a 50-state tax engine. Onsite terms name Applicable Taxes as part of the transaction base when selling fees apply. They do not publish Illinois vs California, VAT, or GST. Empty tax is not modeled. If tax sat inside a leftover Meta checkout total, fold it into the sale you type. If checkout is on your site, your tax plugin is not this card.
