The buyer paid a protection line at checkout. That is not your cut — not on official US seller help. vinted.com Selling basics still says there are no fees for selling. How it works says you keep 100% of what you earn. Buyer Protection on the US Price List is $0.70 + 5% of the item price, billed to the buyer, and it excludes shipping. This page’s keep math is the United States (vinted.com, USD) market. UK and EU print different buyer formulas; seller keep is still described as zero selling fees there, but this calculator does not pretend those checkouts share one percent.
United States (vinted.com) planning formula: seller keep = listed item price − optional bump dollars you paste − optional COGS. Official seller help does not deduct Buyer Protection from payout, so this card does not subtract $0.70 + 5%. That figure is shown as buyer checkout, not your cut. Shipping on the US Price List is borne by the buyer when you offer that option and is out of the Buyer Protection base — it is also out of seller keep unless you chose seller-paid postage (paste that cost under COGS / pack; do not invent a label grid).
Buyer Protection preview uses the US Price List formula only: $0.70 + 5% × item, excluding shipping. It is displayed so you can see what the buyer paid. It is not subtracted from keep. UK/EU ranges are in the market section below — they are not wired into this USD card.
Same $50 closet sticker is a different product on each app. Depop still takes 3.3% + $0.45 processing out of US seller keep even with a 0% selling fee. OfferUp also prints no in-person commission — and retired nationwide shipping on 23 Sep 2025, so that $50 is a meetup, not a prepaid label. This card is United States keep, USD, on vinted.com. Language toggle on the help pages we opened was English, US. We also opened UK, France, and Germany Price Lists because Buyer Protection is not one worldwide formula. Seller-side “no selling fees” language appears in more than one domain; the buyer-side arithmetic does not.

If you sell from the UK app, do not paste the US $0.70 + 5% onto a GBP checkout, and do not paste the UK 3–8% range onto a US Wallet. Seller keep in every market we opened is still described as no selling fees on standard sales. The platform’s published take is on the buyer. Optional bump is extra, and only if you bought it.

The Buyer will be automatically charged a Buyer Protection Fee… A fixed amount of $0.70; plus 5% of the item price agreed to between the Buyer and the Seller, not including the shipping costs, any additional costs and applicable taxes.
US Selling basics:
There are no fees for selling on Vinted, and you can list as many items as you like.

If a blog subtracts $3.20 from your $50 Vinted payout, it is treating a buyer checkout line as a seller commission. Official US seller help does not say that. That is the whole point of a title that says “take-home after Buyer Protection”: after you classify the fee correctly, US take-home on a standard sale is still the sticker.
Selling basics (help/26) and How it works both print no selling fees / keep 100%. There is no US “final value percent” on the Price List. Do not import Mercari’s 10%, an eBay category row, or Depop’s processing stack onto this Wallet.
Price List: charged to the Buyer, shown before the order is completed. Buyer Protection help (help/550): covers refunds if the item doesn’t arrive, arrives damaged, or is significantly not as described; the fee “is mandatory for every order made through Vinted and is applied automatically at checkout.” Help/342: added at checkout, usually 5% + $0.70, can vary. None of those pages tell the seller to deduct the line from keep. We do not subtract it.
US How it works: “Buyers pay for shipping. You get a prepaid label…” US Price List: shipping costs “are borne by the Buyer” when the seller provides that option; they are displayed on the item page and again before checkout. Integrated-label sales tax is paid by the Buyer; “for custom shipping, the applicable taxes are borne by the Seller.” Gap: Vinted does not publish a US label-price grid on the pages we opened, and this page will not invent ounces-to-dollars. If you ran custom shipping and a tax line hit you, paste that dollar under COGS. This is not a 50-state tax calculator.
US Price List §2: Item Bump for 3 or 7 calendar days. “The Fee for Bumping Listed Items is displayed before completion of the Bump order.” Single-use, not transferable, no refund if the item is removed or you are blocked. No public US bump dollar table. Empty field = $0. Do not amortize a wardrobe promotion into a made-up percent of the sale.
Pending balance (help/460) and Selling basics: buyer has 2 days after delivery to tap Everything is OK or I have an issue. Once the order is completed, payment moves from Pending to Available within 2 days. Withdrawals (help/68): up to 5 business days to a US bank; minimum $0.10; USD only; one bank account per Vinted account. Help/68 does not print a withdrawal fee. Wallet is Adyen (help/266, help/437). Identity check can pause withdrawals — that is a hold, not a percent we will invent.
Gaps we will not paper over: US Price List is stamped 1 July 2024 while we are writing in 2026 — checkout wins if Vinted changed the live quote without restamping that page; help/342 “usually / varies” vs Price List formula; UK How it works 5% + £0.70 vs UK Price List 3–8% + £0.30–£0.80; no public US/UK bump dollar table; no published US shipping-label grid; no published withdrawal percent on help/68; custom-shipping tax borne by the seller with no state table (this page is not a 50-state engine); Vinted Pro terms exist on UK/EU domains and are not this US consumer-seller card.
